②后面可接用with sb over [about] sth。

后面常接用for（支持）或against（反对）。

【1】发生；出现

【例】You should contact the sellers as soon as possible when a claim on quality arises.

当发生质量索赔时，你们应尽早同卖方联系。

【2】arise from[ arise out of] 由……而引起

①【例】The country’s present difficulties arise from the reduced value of its money.

国家当前的困难是由于货币贬值引起的。

②现在分词所引出的短语，可作后置定语。

【例】Any disputes arising from the execution of or in connection with this contact shall be settled amicably through friendly consultation.

在执行此合同中发生的或与此合同有关的任何争议，都应通过友好协商来解决。
