知道的，意识到的

 

①仅用作表语，后接of+名词。句式be aware of sth。

【例】 We are aware of the upward tendency in the world market.

我们察觉到世界市场的上涨趋势。

 

②be aware后可直接接that从句。

【例】 You are well aware that the export of our frozen chickens has comparatively long history.

你们很清楚，我方出口冻鸡是有较长历史的。

 

③aware后可接用how等疑问词引出的间接疑问句和感叹句，可用或可不用of。

【例】 We are not aware (of) when you despatched the goods.

我们不了解你方是何时发货的。

 

④在表示“知道”的程度时，商业书信中常用well，fully修饰aware，而不用very。

【例】 We are well [fully] aware of the importance of punctual shipment.

我们很[完全]了解准时交货的重要性。

 

awkward

尴尬的，难处理的

 

【例】Any further delay in shipment will place [put] us in very awkward position.

进一步拖延装船将会使我们处于为难的地位。
