【2】（货品）卖得（多少钱）

 

①【例】This old car will bring about 10000 yuan.

这辆旧汽车可卖得10000元。

 

②可接双宾语。

【例】The products we export bring us US$100000 a year.

我们出口的产品每年可卖得100000美元。

 

【3】bring about实现，促成

 

【例】We are busily working on your offer in the hope that we can bring about business.

我们正在忙于办理你方的报盘，希望能与你方达成交易。

 

【4】bring… down降低（价格等）

 

①【例】I’m afraid the international situation will bring exports down.

恐怕国际形势将使出口下降。

 

②表示减价至某一程度时，可在bring down后面加介词to引出的短语。

I consider that your price is rather high. You must bring it down to a reasonable level.

【例】We brought to the knowledge [attention, notice] of the sellers that the order had been outstanding for considerable time.

【例】There is another proposal we wish to bring up for your kind consideration.

我们还想提出另一建议，请贵方给予善意的考虑。
