【1】担保，保证

 

①【例】We will provide a fresh guarantee for the protection of the equipment repaired.

对于修理后的设备，我们将提供新的保证。

 

②可用作定语。

【例】The guarantee period shall be 12 months counting from the date of the Bill of Lading.

保证期限为自提单日期算起12个月。

 

③后面可有同位语从句。

【例】A letter of credit is a banker’s guarantee that payment will be made on presentation of all the required shipping documents.

信用证是银行的保证，保证是呈递所有必需的装船单据时付款。

 

【2】担保，保证

 

①【例】We guarantee punctual shipment of the goods you ordered last month.

我们保证你方上月所订货物准时交货。

 

②接用不定式。

【例】We guarantee to ship the goods in time as contracted.

我们保证按合同规定及时装运该货。

 

③接用：宾语+不定式。

【例】The seller shall guarantee all shipments to conform to samples submitted.

卖方应保证所有运交的货物与样品相符合。

 

④可接用双宾语（即直接宾语和间接宾语），可改为被动句式（即将某一宾语改作句中主语）。

【例】We can guarantee our workers regular employment.

我们能保证工人经常工作，不失业。

 

 ⑤接用从句。

【例】The Principal guarantees that its products shall be of quality described in its public advertisements.

业主［委托人］保证其产品质量与公开广告宣传相符合。

【例】A guarantee clause may be agreed upon in the contract by parties. The guarantor shall undertake responsibility within the agreed scope of guarantee.

当事人可以在合同中约定担保。担保人在约定的担保范围内承担责任。

现告知你方可供参考的是，我方市场上素色的布料比较畅销。
