Restricted Language

受限语言

A term used by some linguists to refer to a reduced linguistic system used for a special communicative purpose, as in the language of heraldry, or air-traffic control. Alternatively, the notion may be characterized with reference to ‘restricted context’.

有些语言学家用来指为特殊信递目的使用的经缩减的语言系统，如宣传介绍空中交通控制使用的语言。这个概念也可用“受限语境”来定义。
