R-Expression

指称语

An abbreviation for referring expression, a category in the three-way classification of noun phrases in binding theory, the other two being anaphors and pronominals. According to principle C of binding theory, R-expression must be free.

全称为Referring Expression，指约束理论分出的三类名词短语之一，其他两类是照应语和代名语。按照约束理论的C原则，指称语必须自由。
