附从语

A term used in Quirk grammar to refer to a subclass of adverbials along with adjuncts, disjuncts and conjuncts. Subjuncts include a wide range of adverbials which have a subordinate role in comparison with other clause elements. They include several classes of item, such as the expression of viewpoint, courtesy and emphasis.

夸克语法术语，指与附接语、外接语、并连语并列的一类状语。附从语包括一系列与小句其他成分相比处于从属地位的状语，涉及好几个语类，如表示观点的，表示礼貌的，表示强调的。
