Stranding
流落[成分]
A term used in some grammars to refer to an element which is left unattached after it has been moved out of a construction, or after the rest of the construction has been moved. For example, a preposition is commonly left stranded, after the noun phrase within the prepositional phrase has been moved, as in who did you give the book to?
有的语法用来指一个成分在移出一个构式后,或在构式的其他成分被移走后无所依附。例如介词短语中的名词短语被移走后,剩下的介词常变为流落成分,如Who did you give the book to?“你把书给谁了?”。
