Strong Form

强式

One of two possible pronunciations for a word, in the context of connected speech, the other being weak. The strong form is that which is the result of a word being stressed. Most of the grammatical words of English occur in both forms.

一个词在连续言语中两种可能的发音中的一种；另一种是弱式。强式是词重读的结果。英语大多数语法词有强式和弱式两种发音。
