语速

An application of the general sense of this term in phonetics and phonology to refer to speed of speaking; alternatively known as rate. Contrasts in the tempo of utterance are analysed in suprasegmental phonetics and phonology, along with pitch and loudness variation, as part of the overall study of rhythm.
