A term used in natural generative phonology, to refer to the (non-generative) rules which link distinct underlying forms. For example, divine / divinity would be linked by a rule /aɪ/–/i/, though form would be listed individually in the lexicon.
自然生成音系学使用的术语,指连系两个不同底层形式的(非生成)规则。例如,divine“神的”/divinity“神性”通过一条/aɪ/–/i/规则相连系,但两个形式在词库中分别列出。
