如蒙迅速答复,则非常感激。
②可接用动名词。
【例】We shall appreciate your signing and returning one copy of our S/C No.123 enclosed.
你方将附寄的第123号销售确认书签署并退回一份,则我们十分感激。
③可接用it + if从句。
【例】We (shall) appreciate it if you will quote us the lowest prices CIFC 5% Port Sudan.
如贵方能报给CIFC 5%苏丹港最低价,则我们很感激。
④appreciate可用表示程度的状语加以修饰(如greatly,highly,very much等)。一般这些状语置于appreciate之前;若句子为appreciate it if… 则状语置于it与if之间。有人认为appreciate这个词已含有“非常郑重”之意,greatly等实为多余,应删去;不过实际使用的人还是很多。
【例】We very much appreciate your wish to develop some other items with us and shall be pleased to give you our close cooperation.
