【例】The Buyers have the right of checking the weight and quality of each shipment delivered.

②使用其动名词短语。

【5】check out清点（货物），从（商店、旅馆等）结账离去，办妥手续离去
【例】We have checked out all the goods in the store.
我们已将店中货物盘点清了。
【6】check up (on)查对，核对
①【例】Please check up the figures and see whether they are right.
请核对这些数字，看它们是否正确。
②使用其现在分词短语作状语。
【例】Checking up both the credit and your Sales Contract No 9120, we do find such errors in the L/ C as pointed out in your letter of May10.
查对信用证和你方第9120号销售合同时，我们在信用证中的确发现有你方5月10日来信所指出的错误。
③(on) checking up…可用作句子状语（其中checking是动名词）。
【例】On checking up the clauses in your L/C No.1234, we find that the packing stipulated is not in conformity with that in our S/C No.5678.

【7】check with同……核查，用……核对
①【例】We should have checked with you, and I’m sorry, we didn’t.

【例】Upon checking with our records, we find that no contract has been made with regard to this business.
