Tenor

语旨

A term used in Hallidayan classification of language varieties (more fully tenor of discourse), referring to the relations among the participants in a language activity, especially the level of formality they adopt (colloquial, formal etc.). Alternative labels which have been proposed for this area are style or manner of discourse.

对语言变体作韩礼德式分类的术语，全程tenor of discourse，指一项语言活动中各参与者之间的关系，特别指他们采纳的正式性的层次（口语的，正式的，等）。可替换术语有语体或语式。
